Land's End to John O'Groats
Cycling Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) is a truly inspirational experience. Pushing yourself beyond your limits and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Cycling from the famous Land's End sign post in Cornwall to its partnering sign post at John O’Groats.
Your challenge takes you from the coast towards Penzance, taking in the view of St Micheal's Mount, then heading up and down the undulating hills of Cornwall.
Enjoy the low traffic roads and lanes heading to Tavistock taking on the harsh climbs and fantastic views of Dartmoor.

Cycling alongside the river Exe, though country lanes and farm land, enjoying the great views from the Severn Bridge.
​
Riding North through the Lake District and over Shap - an epic climb and one of the largest on this challenge.
Crossing into Scotland at Gretna Green is the start of the rolling hills before making your way up through the highlands.
​
Along the north coast, from Betty Hill to Thurso your challenge is almost complete, with the finish line almost in sight. There is an opportunity to climb Dunnet Head, the most northerly point of the main land. Then on to John O'Groats where you will finish this legendary cycling challenge.

Day one
Land's end To Bodelva
Starting at Land's End Landmark, cycling from the coast and towards Penzance. Taking in the view of st Micheal's mount, heading up and down the steep hills of Cornwall.

Bodelva To Tiverton
Starting at Bodelva in Cornwall, cycling on low traffic roads heading to Tavistock. Taking on the harsh climbs and fantastic views of Dartmoor then on to Tiverton.

Tiverton To Tintern
Cycling from Tiverton alongside the river Exe, though country lanes and around farm land. Enjoy the great views from the Severn Bridge before reaching Tintern

Tintern To Shrewsbury
Riding away from Tintern, along the river Wye enjoying a little break from the hills alongside the border between England and wales heading to the Shropshire hills.

Shrewsbury To Preston
Cycling north out of Shrewsbury, A flattish day in the saddle, passing canals and woodland. Leaving the midlands behind and heading to the north of England.

Preston To Carlisle
Heading out of Preston and riding north to Carlisle, Taking us though the lake district and over Shap, an epic climb and one of the largest on our challenge.

Carlisle To Kilmarnock
Cycling from Carlisle to Gretna Green, crossing the border into Scotland. Enjoy the scenery change as you head to Kilmarnock.

Day Eight
Kilmarnock To Crianlarich
Riding north to Crianlarich, passing farm land and the famous Loch Lomond. Taking in the views of mountains and forested hills.

Crianlarich To Fort Willham
Cycling north west towards Glencoe, Dramatic mountains, not often seen beauty in the heart of the Highlands. Next stop fort Willham.

Fort Willham To Tain
Cycling out of fort Willham and along the A82 at the bottom of Ben Nevis. On our way to Tain we be cycling up and over fort Agustus one of the steepest climbs on LEJOG.

Tain To Bettyhill
Taking a ride from Tain to Bettyhill on the north coast of Scotland. Cycling pass the Falls of Shin, heading over the untouched highlands. Surrounded by pine trees, rivers and flowing streams.Â

Day Twelve
Betty Hill To John O'Groats
Cycling along the north coast, from Betty Hill to Thurso. Our challenge is almost complete, with the finish line just out of sight. The opportunity to climb to the most northerly point of the main land Dunnet Head. Once we reach John O'Groats and have a much deserved celebration before we transfer to Inverness to spend our last night.
