Our Events
Our events are tailored to you and your group. We have put our events into three categories - challenges, tours, and adventures.
Challenge events are designed to help you achieve your cycling dreams and offer a great opportunity to fundraise for your charity or a cause close to your heart. Challenge events take place over multiple days and often involve cycling from one landmark to another, for example Land’s End to John O’Groats or London to Paris.
Touring events are generally a round trip, where possible taking a different route or a circular route for the return journey. Touring events can be over two or more days, cycling generally around 50 to 80 miles per day. These can be fully or partially supported depending on the style or length of the tour.
Adventure events are intended to be more social, combining other activities or experiences. They are mainly two to three days long, designed for a weekend getaway, stag/hen events, or team building.

This Challenge can be customised to suit your needs
C2C
Pack your bags and head to the Lake District, to take on the C2C cycling challenge. Starting your 150 mile journey next to the well-known C2C sign in Whitehaven. Cycling along the National Cycle Network which follows surfaced paths and low traffic lanes, the route passes through some of the country's most beautiful lakes and mountains. Heading to the hard climbs of the North Pennines and through to the finish near the beach in Tynemouth

London to Paris Tour
London to Paris cycling tour is in a league of its own, with the lets cycle to Paris and back again mentality. Spending eight days in the saddle, with a rest day to explore Paris at your own leisure.
Cycling 600 plus miles from city to city and back.

France End To End
Are you ready for the trip of a lifetime? We’ve got an exclusive cycling challenge for you. France coast to coast is truly amazing, Treat yourself to a one-of-a-kind adventure you will never forget. Cycling approximately 720 miles from the north coast of Calais to Montpellier on the south coast.

Route planning
Exceeding Expectations
Route planning to us is an art form. We spend days meticulously going through maps and other information, using many years of experience to provide the best cycling routes for you to enjoy. By balancing out route mileage, low traffic, and cycle paths, we would never offer a route we have not cycled or would not cycle ourselves.
We will always do our best to find good places for water stops and lunch.

After years of completing many cycling challenges and events, we wanted to give something back and help people to complete their own cycling adventures.
By offering guidance and advice at first then later by supporting events is what led to the creation of Cycle Explorers.
We started looking at the challenges and events we had completed to improve upon the overall experience from a cyclists prospective. This makes for a far better experience for our clients.
By taking a customised approach to your dream cycling challenge, event or holiday we work with individuals, groups and cycling clubs to organise and support a truly tailored cycling adventure that will create great memories that will last a lifetime.
