John O'Groats To Land's End

John O’Groats to Land’s End cycle challenge - commonly known as JOGLE.

Cycling John O’Groats to Land’s End is a truly inspirational experience. Pushing yourself beyond your limits and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Cycling from the famous John O’Groats signpost on the north coast of the Scottish highlands to its partnering signpost at Land’s End in Cornwall, your challenge takes you along the north coast of the Scottish highlands and will give you the opportunity to climb Dunnet Head, the most northerly point of the mainland.

Our route will take you south over the untouched highlands, past the picturesque Falls of Shin which is surrounded by pine trees, rivers, and flowing streams.

You will be passing farmland and the famous Loch Lomond and Loch Ness; make sure you keep an eye out for the monster as you ride!

We cross into England at Gretna Green, made famous by the many young couples who eloped across the border to marry without their parent's blessing following the 1754 Marriage Act, prohibiting couples under the age of 21 from marrying in England or Wales without their parent's consent.

Riding south next to the Lake District and over Shap - an epic climb and one of the hardest on this challenge. We will be heading down the county passing many towns and cities as the route takes you along the border between England and Wales, before crossing the old Severn Bridge, with great views of the River Severn from the bridge.

Our route takes us up and over the Mendip Hills, these notable limestone hills draw hikers and spelunkers with its many caves & ancient historic sites as well as the harsh climbs and fantastic views of Dartmoor National Park, a vast moorland in the county of Devon - where Dartmoor ponies roam its rugged landscape distinct by its rivers, forests, and rock formations.

Close to the end of the challenge, there are still the undulating hills of Cornwall to take on while taking in the view of St Micheal's Mount, a rocky island crowned by a medieval church. Finally once you reach Land’s End and the partnering signpost of John O’Groats, it will be time for a much-deserved celebration.

We also offer the option of a Land's end to John O'Groats challenge (LEJOG).
