Wales End To End

This Challenge Starts next to the picturesque Light House at South Stack located in north Wales. Cycling on quiet lanes and cycle paths, with fantastic views of the Irish Sea and Welsh coastline.


Over Three days covering approximately 230 miles and 8,450ft of ascent.

​

Enjoy the fabulous sea views before heading inland to follow the river Wye towards Llanelwedd which is located on the right bank of the Wye and the famous Royal Welsh Showground, which hosts several attractions during the year.

​

Cycling through the Brecon Beacons National Park which is home to some of the most stunning scenery in South Wales, full of grassy moorland, peaceful reservoirs, exquisite waterfalls, and high mountain plateaus.


We complete our challenge in the city of Cardiff to celebrate our amazing journey through Wales.

Unless stated getting to and from the start and finish locations of this challenge need to be arranged by yourself unless you have booked a transfer with us.

Day one

South Stack To Barmouth

Starting next to the picturesque South Stack Light House. We start our cycling on quiet lanes and cycle paths, with fantastic views of the sea and welsh coastline riding through Holyhead as we join the welsh mainland. Heading south toward Barmouth, a town and community in the county of Gwynedd, north-western Wales, lying on the estuary of the River Mawddach and Cardigan Bay.

Day Two

Barmouth To Llanelwedd

Leaving Barmouth we cycle along the coastal road enjoying the fabulous sea view, before heading inland to take on one of the bigger climbs of the challenge. Following the direction of the river Wye towards Llanelwedd which is located on the right bank of the Wye and the famous Royal Welsh Showground, which hosts several attractions during the year.

Day Three

Llanelwedd To Cardiff

Leaving Llanelwedd and continuing in the direction of the river Wye, we will see scenic green fields and woodland along with the pretty stone cottages unique to the Welsh countryside. Having a well-earned lunch in the Brecon Beacons National Park which is home to some of the most stunning scenery in South Wales, full of grassy moorland, peaceful reservoirs, exquisite waterfalls, and high mountain plateaus. Now with only 40 miles left to complete our challenge we head to Cardiff and celebrate our amazing journey through Wales.

Day Four

Heading Home

We say good bye at breakfast, it’s time to head home. Depending on requirements a transfer can be organised back to our start location at South Stack or to a place closer to home at an additional cost.
